Why Choose Never Land Paragliding School?
- Receive your education from one of the best, most experienced pilots on the West coast. Stephen has been flying for over 20 years, has experience with hike & fly, cross-country, acrobatic maneuvers and long-distance tandem flights.

- Great prices on lessons, tandems, combo lessons & gear!
- Stephen prides himself on having some of the highest standards for safety and technique when it comes to ground handling, launching, flying and landing. He doesn't want you to just "get away with it", he wants to make sure you have good technique, no matter what conditions you are kiting, launching, flying and landing in. It may take a little longer to polish you up, but he believes this will keep you safer and far less likely to injure yourself.
- Choose our combo solo + tandem lesson to experience flying and kiting on the same day!
- Choose our unlimited lessons up to a P4, with continued support throughout.
- Flexible scheduling 7 days a week, as long as the weather conditions cooperate.
- Generally smaller classes for a more personal, higher quality one-on-one session.
- School gear included up to a P2 rating.
- Learn to fly at a desert mountain site with wide open spaces and plenty of room to explore. Andy Jackson Airpark is home to some of the best thermal flying in the world! It offers many options such as hike & fly, cross-country (XC), acro, or you may enjoy smooth and relaxing late afternoon flights. Ridge-soar or thermal, it’s up to you!
- Receive extensive ground school and flight theory, including wild white board drawings and some applicable math & science, but just enough to keep it fun!

- Learn to read the weather and choose the appropriate flying conditions for your skill level.
- Join the School’s WhatsApp Group chat! Ask the instructor questions any time, connect with fellow student pilots to schedule flying adventures together, discuss new information, and share videos & experiences from your ongoing paragliding journeys. Receive detailed tips on how to be a safe, responsible and efficient pilot. Friendly critique discussions of kiting, launching and landing are common, so that you may become the best pilot you can be.
- Your P2 certification is your first major achievement, but the learning doesn’t end there. Stephen will continue to mentor you on your journey toward your intermediate P3 and advanced P4 ratings.

- Receive assistance in selecting the appropriate gear for your skill level and flying goals, once you are ready to purchase your own wing, harness and parachute. Stephen is an Ozone dealer, but he has access to all makes and models.
- Learn to re-pack and install your reserve.
- Go over the USHPA exam questions one-by-one with your instructor before taking the P1, P2, P3 and P4 exams, so that you understand they “why” behind the questions, not just memorizing the answers. We go over the right and the wrong answers, and everything in between.
- Receive access to Stephen’s “Basics & More” Google Living Doc to read at your leisure. It contains detailed explanations and illustrations of important information, relevant to the safety of your flying journey.
- Once you become an independent pilot and you wish to have an even better understanding of our flying site, flying XC, or improve your thermalling, take an educational tandem flight with Stephen! Stay in the fish bowl, or venture out farther than you’ve ever been.
- After you have gained lots of experience, skill and confidence, you may begin to explore the cross-country possibilities to the East and West! If you’re interested in eventually pursuing acro, Stephen can guide you in that next step as well.
